This site is a showcase page for me and some of my current projects. I’m a bit of a Renaissance gal and am involved in a lot of interesting projects and businesses. This mix changes from time to time, but featured here are my primary active business projects.

When people start working with me, it is usually through my consulting company Just Brilliant Services. I have an MBA as of 2006 from Oklahoma State University and over 20 yrs experience as an entrepreneur.

My specialty is working with start-up projects founded by a scientist, inventor, author or entrepreneur. This often starts with a role as project manager developing a strategic plan. Acting as a temporary CEO without the big equity risk or salary demands, I can work with the founder and their team getting things planned and structured so they can raise capital if needed and maximize resources on hand.

The goal after capital is raised and a operations and marketing plan and team are in place is for me to be able to transition into an advisory position or board member.

Why do I ask for people to fill out a two page pre-strategic planning worksheet? 1) Your time is valuable and so is mine – this gives us both a baseline idea of where you are and where you want to be when we talk. 2) This worksheet is designed to lead you through a systematic thought process that accelerates seeing new solutions. 3) If you don’t know the answers to all the questions, that’s great! It’s done its job revealing where the process needs to start.)
